BPW New Zealand: entrance signage that connects identity and directions

Industrial and transport businesses often need to distinguish office access from other site functions. BPW’s plinth shows how a brand panel and practical entry information can share one sign.

THE VISIBILITY NEED

Making the right information noticeable

The visibility task was to connect the BPW identity with practical arrival information, so an entrance sign could explain both whose premises visitors were approaching and where they should go.

SIGNSPOT’S DESIGN RESPONSE

Hierarchy, contrast and placement

SignSpot organised the vertical plinth into three clear zones. The blue upper panel identifies BPW New Zealand, a separate middle area carries CTS branding, and the dark lower section prioritises Main Entry, Office and Parts Sales. White lettering contrasts with the dark panels, with the entrance instruction set larger than the supporting destinations. This hierarchy gives the sign a deliberate reading order without blending the two identities or the operational information.

COMPLETED SIGNAGE

The finished signage solution

The finished plinth combines business identification and destination information in one exterior marker. Its value is the clarity of the arrival message and its relationship to the branded premises.
