How to prepare logo files for signage

Good logo files make signage faster, cleaner, and easier to quote. If you have the right files, design concepts and production artwork can be prepared more accurately.

Best file types

Vector files are usually best for signage. These may include AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF files created from vector artwork.

High-resolution PNG or JPG files can help for reference, but they may not be suitable for large signs if the resolution is low.

Other details to include

Send brand colours, fonts if available, examples of previous signage, vehicle model, photos of the site, measurements, deadline, and your preferred contact details.

Sometimes, but vector artwork is better. If only a JPG is available, send the highest resolution version and SignSpot can advise the next step.
